Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated MERN Stack Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable, high-performance web applications and has a strong foundation in React.js, along with a working understanding of Node.js, Express.js, and database technologies such as MongoDB or MySQL.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications while following best coding practices and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.js.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs using Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS.
• Work with MongoDB and MySQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver quality solutions.
• Write clean, modular, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to development best practices.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with React.js.
• Clear understanding of React concepts including props, state, component lifecycle, and prop drilling.
• Experience working with both functional components and class-based components.
• Basic working knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.
• Familiarity with MongoDB.
• Basic understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (arrays, strings, stacks, queues, basic problem-solving).
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
• Strong understanding and hands-on usage of React Hooks.
• Experience using Postman and/or Swagger for API testing and documentation.
• Exposure to NestJS or similar backend frameworks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
