What's new

OPUS Audio Codec Support for Voice Transmission and Call Recording

RADIUS now supports the OPUS audio codec for voice transmission and call recording across the platform. This delivers high-quality voice at significantly lower bandwidth, reduces storage costs, and sharpens the accuracy of AI-powered features like transcription, sentiment analysis, and quality monitoring.

Why it matters
  • Clearer call audio while using less bandwidth.
  • Smaller recording files and lower storage costs.
  • Reliable voice quality even on weak networks.
  • Removes the manual effort of finding and dialing the right contact.
  • More accurate transcription, analytics, and AI monitoring.
  • Lower latency for more natural conversations.
Agent Auto Ready

RADIUS can now automatically place configured agents in the Ready state immediately upon login, removing the need for manual status changes. Administrators enable this through a simple configuration setting, so agents are available for customer interactions the moment they sign in.

Why it matters
  • Agents become available the moment they log in.
  • Removes the need for manual status changes.
  • Reduces idle time before the first interaction.
  • Improves queue responsiveness and workforce utilization.
  • Supports smooth handling of high-volume operations.
Team-Based Admin Access Control for AXIS Reports

RADIUS now restricts AXIS report visibility so administrators see data only for the teams assigned to them. This granular control strengthens data security and governance while supporting decentralized administration across business units.

Why it matters
  • Admins see reports only for their assigned teams.
  • Keeps team and operational data private.
  • Prevents accidental access to other departments’ data.
  • Enforces reporting access rules consistently across the platform.
  • Strengthens accountability with clear data ownership.
Visual IVR Workflow Designer

RADIUS introduces a visual IVR Workflow Designer that lets administrators and business users build, configure, and manage IVR call flows through an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Teams can design complete call journeys using components like Start, Play Prompt, Menu, Decision, and Routing nodes — with no scripting or development effort required.

Why it matters
  • Build IVR call flows with simple drag and drop.
  • No coding or scripting required.
  • Easily configure prompts, menus, and routing logic.
  • Visualize the full call journey at a glance.
  • Handle complex routing with decision-based branching.
DND and Contact Blocking for Telephone and Chat Channels

RADIUS adds Do Not Disturb (DND) and Contact Blocking for Telephone and Chat channels, letting administrators and authorized users prevent interactions from specific customers or numbers. Organizations can block unwanted, abusive, spam, or restricted communications inbound and outbound across supported channels.

Why it matters
  • Block unwanted contacts across calls and chat.
  • Stop spam, fraud, and abusive messages from reaching agents.
  • Reduce interruptions so agents stay productive.
  • Protect agents from repeated harassment.
  • Manage all blocked contacts and DND lists in one place.
  • Helps meet compliance requirements.
Process and Campaign Segregation Based on Team Mapping

RADIUS now restricts administrative access to processes and campaigns based on assigned team memberships. Administrators can view, configure, manage, and monitor only the processes and campaigns mapped to their teams, while unassigned ones remain restricted.

Why it matters
  • Admins access only their teams’ processes and campaigns.
  • Restricts access to unassigned resources.
  • Prevents accidental edits to other teams’ work.
  • Shows each admin only what’s relevant to them.
  • Scales to large, multi-tenant environments.

Bug Fixes

  • Improved scheduling accuracy and reliability.
  • Enhanced handling of contact and block-list updates.
  • Refined data accuracy in reporting widgets.
  • Minor UI and performance enhancements.
